Select from our certified range of high-definition vehicle-mounted cameras, designed for demanding commercial fleets and specialized industrial safety applications.
In modern industrial fleets, logistics networks, and hazardous material transportation sectors, vehicle visibility under poor illumination is a major regulatory and operational challenge. Conventional infrared (IR) night vision systems often fall short due to range limitations, high power consumption, thermal signatures, and monochromatic rendering. This has led global procurement managers to prioritize 2MP Starlight Car Cameras.
Unlike standard vision components, Starlight technology leverages high-sensitivity CMOS sensors (such as back-illuminated pixel structures) and wide-aperture lenses (F1.2 or F1.5). These elements allow the sensor to capture ambient photon signatures in environments as dark as 0.0001 Lux. By maintaining color fidelity in low-light conditions, these cameras improve the accuracy of edge-AI systems like Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Exploring the integration of starlight imaging in commercial logistics, public transit, and heavy industrial machinery.
Petrochemical shipping and gaseous cargo demand systems certified for hazardous settings. Our integrated explosion-proof cameras feature pressure-resistant dome glass and spark-resistant alloy enclosures to prevent ignition risk in explosive atmospheres.
Using 2MP sensors, fleet safety terminals track driver behavior patterns—such as distraction, micro-sleep, and device use. Starlight capability ensures reliable operation under mixed cabin lighting without relying on distracting near-IR illumination.
Heavy machinery operating in remote, dark environments needs wide-angle, rugged visibility. High-durability IP69K casings resist high-pressure washdowns, thick dust, and structural vibrations during operation.
Modern mobile video surveillance is shifting from 720P analog to 2MP (1080P) digital high-definition standards, with 4MP and 4K solutions growing in specialized areas. In commercial automotive setups, 2MP remains popular for its balance of low-light sensitivity, optimal bandwidth use, and lower processing temperatures. As hardware evolves, we are integrating HDR (High Dynamic Range) capabilities to preserve details in high-contrast scenes, such as leaving tunnels at midday or facing direct headlight glare at night.

A deep dive into the hardware components of industrial low-light imaging.
Industrial imaging is defined by sensor architecture and optoelectronic design. For vehicle cameras, resolving color and detail under minimal illumination is key to accurate driving records and safety analytics. The 2MP Starlight Car Camera uses a combination of high-sensitivity hardware and custom signal processing to achieve this performance.
Standard CMOS sensors use Front-Illuminated (FSI) designs, where metal wiring sits above the light-sensitive photodiode. This blocks a portion of the incoming light. Starlight sensors use Back-Illuminated (BSI) architectures, which place the photodiode layer on top. This allows photons to hit the light-sensitive area directly, increasing light capture efficiency by up to 40% and enabling color video in near-total darkness.
The lens aperture determines how much light reaches the sensor. While typical cameras use F2.0 lenses, our starlight configurations use F1.2 or F1.5 wide-aperture lenses. Upgrading from F2.0 to F1.2 more than doubles the amount of light entering the camera, improving low-light performance before electronic gain amplification.
Amplifying low-light signals can introduce image noise. To address this, our Image Signal Processor (ISP) uses 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) algorithms. These systems compare successive video frames to detect and remove random noise while preserving static details. This maintains clear edge definition and legibility of license plates or traffic signs.
